Kendall Peak Lakes Snowshoe — Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026

Hiked to the first lake. No snowshoes or spikes necessary. Beautiful day. Boot pack all the way. It started to snow on the way back. Restrooms were disgusting, very full. We arrived at 9 and there were about 7 cars. Finished at 1:30 and the parking was a mess. Lots of cars. Not many people on the trail. Most were sledding close to the road.
