Rattlesnake Mountain - Grand Prospect — Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025

Very much enjoyed this hike on the way up.  A gentle grade, and clear signage, it is worth noting that it intersects with a trail for mountain biking a number of times, don’t veer down the wrong path, usually just cross straight over the intersecting path. The majority of the hike is wooded, and the whole second half is already snow covered. Despite it being not too steep, I had a very bad time coming down the mountain without spikes.  It was very very slippery and I went painstakingly slow, picking out each step carefully, and I still fell several times
