Arrived at 7.30am at the parking area. There were some cars that appeared to be parked overnight judging by the snow on them. 27F, low clouds, no wind, around 10in of fresh snow.
Road: From the exit to the parking area the road did not appear to be plowed (yet). On the way back at 10am saw a couple cars that seemed to be stuck in that area - some were putting on chains. I hope everyone got out ok.
Trail: Quite well defined and relatively easy. I used snowshoes but there were others with just boots. The pond isn't frozen yet which is bit unusual for this time of year.
Note to self: if possible avoid this area during weekends. With cars possibly getting stuck near the parking area it can be tough to exit as it's effectively one lane.
