Mount Spokane State Park - Trail 131 — Friday, Dec. 26, 2025

We didn’t get too far out of the parking lot, but my kid and I sure had fun playing in the snow for an hour.

Things were pretty quiet, especially since there hasn’t been much snow, though with things opening up (tubing hill tomorrow maybe) maybe this weekend I expect that will change.

Road up was a little slushy but the plows and rangers were out. Enjoyed some snowmen (icemen) from a previous batch of snow, walked on a few trails (131, 260) and tossed some snowballs.

Definitely a few small downed branches from recent winds, but a few more inches will cover them up.
