Decided to get breakfast in Skykomish to help support local businesses affected by the Highway 2 closure. Sunday was a buffet so we had to walk it off naturally, and Heybrook Ridge seemed like a good place to do that. We made it approximately 0.6 miles up the trail before running into a group of trees downed in a section we decided was not passable for us. Someone has been working on clearing fallen logs and we removed what branches we could up until that point. Stopped for coffee at the Bush House Inn. Looking forward to going back for their cinnamon rolls.
