Intermittent snow - not hard to cross

Trails Hiked

Snow covered at Longmire. Snow - rain mix all day but still nice to be out! Trees down but most easy enough but a few required crawling . Nisqually River is incredibly full and not sure if the log bridge across it will survive! We got close to the Cougar Rock Campground but stopped at a jumble of trees across the trail.  Water water everywhere!

Thanks for the report. The MNRP website says the Carter Falls trail is closed because the bridge is dislodged. Is the hike open again?
