Lots of water running on the trail, we were glad to have high top boots. One recent tree across the trail. My son went over it. The dog and I went under it.
Took advantage of a no school day (thanks power outage!) to spend an afternoon walking in the sunshine. Well, mostly forest, but the sunshine on our faces through the clearcut felt lovely.
Great lowland hike. We didn't venture very far into the mine (lots of water and slippery logs) but may next time!
