After a short work day I went to check out Snoqualmie falls just before our 3rd atmospheric river comes in this evening. The falls are currently at about 14,000 cubic feet/second (cfs). This is well below flood stage (20,000 cfs) but still looks very impressive. On 12/10 it peaked at around 70,000 cfs! That's 5 times more water than today. 70,000 cfs is just shy of an entire olympic size pool dumping every second! Kind of boggles the mind.
Attached below is a photo album that my friend took on 12/10 near peak flow.
