Quick second walk of the morning around the short Price Sculpture Forest after wandering around Ft Casey earlier. Parking and access are free though limited to just a handful of spots and one disabled spot, (though there is a bike rack right next to the entrance if you can cycle there.) There is a single though very well maintained sanican at the lot currently. Neither bicycles nor dogs are allowed on the trails. The trails remain a couple small (though not flat) loops with the art installations placed out in the woods along the way and were all in good condition. Note, they are not ADA/wheel chair accessible.
The main draw is the sculpture and there is a pretty wide variety of types and styles to hopefully pique most people’s interest for at least a few of them. There is also a virtually augmented program to download and use as well if you are into such things. But even without the art this section of forest is quite nice, dense 2nd growth with lots of moss and a good number of native rhododendrons scattered about. There is also a large bald eagle nest visible in the NE are of the property. No eagles out today but there were a couple of talkative raven and quite a few little winter birds fluttering about chirping, etc. A nice little walk in the forest, especially if you have an interest in sculpture.
