Fun way to spend Thanksgiving, despite the rain! I've included 5min of video highlights below..
Parking/Crowds: saw no one else at all; just one other car in lot when I got back
Plants: towering old growth giants, lots of mushrooms, tons of huckleberry
Trail: beautifully constructed "lollipop" loop, with several benches along the way. No obstacles. A great picnic shelter up on the ridge (halfway point) that I used to stay dry while cooking my leave-no-trace feast!

I LOVE your tradition of hiking in WA and feasting in the woods. It has inspired my partner and I to do the same ever since we first saw your videos in 2018. We don't celebrate thanksgiving and are vegan so we absolutely love taking the day off to hike a beautiful Olympic Peninsula rainy day hike! I was thinking about you on our hike today! Your cookies look great this year!
