Random day.
Hiked in from Lost lake. Mostly all on rough 4WD tracks. Snow became permanent after the little hut shelter at long lake and became increasingly thick. At the top plateau it was very deep, knee high in places where there was wind loading.
This is definitely the land of the hunters so I feel less guilty as I luckily had some bright clothing to wear.
All in all it was a nice random day. The only part that stunk was coming down the slippery 4WD tracks before long lake, how vehicles can run that blows my mind!
