Ira Spring Trail - Mason Lake — Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025

The trail is beautiful and you will walk on soft pine needles for much of the trip which your feet will appreciate. There was a dusting of snow on the boulder field near Mason Lake, but the trail was clear and easy to navigate.  Be cautious on the road as the pavement turns to gravel. There is a very large pothole right at the transition point that is hard to see in the morning shade.
