This little gem is definitely worth a stop when driving up the index Galena road. Beautiful blue-green cascades through scoured rock channels, lots of emerald green moss, and stately trees.
The campground is now closed, so you have to park on the road. There is more space to park near the campground entrance - walk past the campground gate, turn left, go to the Day Use area at end of the short road, and pick up the trail at the ramp on the left. (If parking at the automobile bridge, you'll have to slide down a steep path to reach trail.) This is a nice little loop trail, with an additional loop on the east side of the creek.
