Had to get out and check the snow at the Pass. Encountered zero people on the trail, although one person did break trail the day prior. Very steep fisherman’s type trail in the beginning, and once you split from the trail to Guye, the snow begins on trail.
New snow covered the path to the summit, I worked hard to keep the bootpack on trail but may have missed in a few spots. Recommend spikes and poles for the slippery snow on steep terrain as you descend.
Took 2 hours to the top, had some views to the north but the Valley was socked in.
