Talapus and Olallie Lakes — Monday, Oct. 13, 2025

Arrived around 9:30AM on a quasi holiday Monday and there were only a couple of cars in the parking lot. Beautiful fall colors at Talapus Lake and a bit of snow up at Ollalie but it was melting fast. Trail was in good condition to the lakes. We did the loop around Ollalie lake via the Pratt Lake trail and the boot path to connect was a bit overgrown and there were some puncheons that had seen better days but it was easy to follow.
