Hiked during the government shutdown - bathrooms at the trailhead were still open and well-maintained (including TP). Hiked with a 9-year-old and an 83-year-old who struggled a bit with stepping over some of the rocks or tree roots, but overall it was an easy enough hike for all of us. Amazing old-growth forest, with several lovely waterfalls. We had fun spotting lots of mushrooms. We stopped at the Lodge for a lunch and enjoyed the rest of the loop along the lakeside. Really nice hike with excellent signage along the way and well-maintained trail.
