It's being a while, and this remains my favorite hike in the county. The trail has Fall color, and was well maintained with excellent signage. I did clockwise which has a gentler climb, but counterclockwise has the benefit seeing the highlight later.
I also explored the overlook spur further this time and discovered once the the trail veered away from the cliff. There's not much to see. On the other hand, the best view (photo) is from the higher cliff 200 yards above the the popular lookout point.
