Lake Valhalla — Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025

Lovely fall hike, although agree with previous poster that the fall colors are starting ot fade, and while there are sill some berries, they are getting overripe.  While I didn't see them, there were two reports of a mama bear and cub close to the lake and some fresh scat by the beach in the morning.  Still some smoke and haze mostly noticeable from Mt McCausland and also when driving out.
