Arrived at trailhead around 9am, was surprised on how much parking was available for a Sunday, probably because the Seahawks and Mariners were playing today. The road to the trailhead was in decent shape, however plenty of potholes to avoid but my Lexus car was able to manage with no issues.
The hike description is pretty accurate, we took the Lower Elliott trail up to the lake and Upper Elliott trail back, both trails are in excellent shape. The waterfalls make this hike worth it by themselves. The elevation gain is gradual, I would have listed this hike as Easy/Moderate instead of Moderate/Hard in my opinion.
Once you get to the lake is has a nice small beach you can relax, eat your lunch while enjoying the mountain view surrounding the lake.
