Nooksack Cirque — Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025

Glorious sunny day walking up into Nooksack Cirque. 1 car (EV) in trailhead lot. Ruth Creek is low and could be forded kneehigh or walk the log. Bring water shoes, for the numerous creeks and channels. Mushrooms are starting: oyster, lions mane, chicken of the woods, slime molds on the move... and old-growth spruces, huge. Recommended as a great hike, but not for those who dislike water crossings.
