A quick trip up to Baldy for nice views. The trail is quite steep, with some loose dirt, but not too bad especially when the dirt is a little damp.
Took us 1.5 hours from the TH to the ridge, additional half hour to Baldy, and 1.5 hours to descend. With some short break, total of 4 hours.
Good AT&T service all the way.
The last 1.5 miles are unpaved, but not too bad at all and doable in any car.
