Purple point campground — Friday, Sep. 19, 2025

This is a quick update on the Purple Point campground in Stehekin. It is located just north of the ferry landing.....maybe a .3 mile. Just past the rental bike place. There are five spots, nice location with a full restroom. Wooded with easy access to bear lockers. #2&3 are close to road..4 is best...5 and 6 are pretty good. Room for 2 to 3 tents usually. After Labor Day, first come...we beat feet off 11am ferry and got #4. Other spots were filled in a hour. This is a great way to have a base at Stehekin and then day hike/explore Stehekin.
