The North Cascades is arguably the most beautiful place on planet earth. And, even though I have not been everywhere hiking, I have hiked in other states and from what I've seen, the North Cascades is just the best.
The parking lot was completely full when I arrived back down from the Ptarmigan Ridge with several cars circling the lot.
I wandered over to Huntoon Point to get an in-your-face-look at Mount Shuksan. Opposite to Mount Baker, you get both ends of the area with amazing views of these beautiful mountains.
