I had been saving this one for an off-season weekday, and what a treat it was! Perfect weather and not crowded at all :-)
The road up was in good shape, and there were only a few cars in the parking lot when I arrived just after 9am. I only encountered a few other hikers coming down in the 2(ish) hours it took me reach the lookout. The short scramble at the top to reach the ladder was a bit of bottleneck, though, and I encountered more humans (and dogs) there than I had all the way up-- but even at the top it wasn't too crowded. I hung out at the lookout for a while savoring the view above the clouds, then enjoyed a leisurely (and similarly uncrowded) descent. On the way down, I encountered a WA State Parks crew replacing the orange trail markers on the boulder field below the summit. Definitely appreciate their hard work!
