Plenty of parking today. Vault toilet is stocked and stinky. Might be better to stop at the state park if you need restrooms.
Not many people on the trail today. I did the opposite of my usual loop and started with Porpoise Point. That’s one steep trail! Despite last nights rain, the trail was dusty and dry. Not sure why I hiked in sandals today. I’d recommend shoes with better support and traction for the rocky parts. Cloudy with calm water. Very peaceful.
