Silver Peak Trail is Open!
WTA has a note saying the forest service road is closed for the first two weeks of September for tribal activities. But the closure happens AFTER the PCT crossing. The road is open all the way up until the trailhead. This red alert text at the top of the page almost caused us to not go on the hike.
Went up for sunset and was really nice. Trail is in good condition, just rocky at the top.
