Bandera Mountain — Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area

A friend suggested we park just off i90 at exit 42 (Tinkham Road) and take a lovely connector trail to skip 15 more minutes of driving and busy parking. Slick! Steep trail but very pretty forest that leads up to the Ira Springs trailhead.

Bandera false summit was straightforward to get to. Getting to the true summit was a bit confusing and bush-wacky but fun scrambling.

No water sources after the bridge over the stream at .7 miles so pack plenty of water for full exposure at the top! Definitely glad we packed some water for our dog too... but wishing we had just gone to Mason lake on such a hot day!
