Naches Peak Loop — Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025

We arrived just after 8am. The lot was roughly half full. We parked near the bathrooms since we had kids with us. There is also a nice picnic area.

Warning: Due to cuts, the bathrooms smell horrendous.

The loop is easy to moderate, dry, and exceptionally family friendly. In only 3 miles there are exceptional mountain views, alpine lakes, wildflowers, etc. Make sure to hike it clockwise so that you get more Mount Rainier views!

There are at least 5 obvious rest points with unbelievable views on this loop - for kids or adults who need a break or to eat.
