Berkeley Park — Friday, Aug. 22, 2025

It was a gorgeous, clear day at the mountain! It was a nice reprieve from the sea level heat. It was about 60 degrees with a nice breeze. Descending down to the meadow and camp made me a little nervous for what the climb back up would feel like, but it wasn’t as strenuous as I’d thought. The flowers were beautiful but slightly passed peak. Loved hearing the running creek along side the trail at spots. Luckily on the hike back, we got a glimpse of a large herd of goats! What a treat!
