Kendall Katwalk, Gravel Lake - Ridge Lake — Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025

Plenty of parking available at the TH a little before 8am. Toilets were clean enough and had plenty of tp. This trail had a lot of variety and wasn’t very steep. We proceeded to the lakes after the Katwalk. Saw lots of folks prepared to stay the night up there. No mosquitos—what a treat! And lots of pikas in the rocky areas. Looking forward to coming back sometime. We hiked about 14-15 miles round trip. Spent 30 minutes above Gravel Lake and arrived back at the TH at 4pm.
