This is a great hike from the Sunrise entrance to Mount Rainier on an overcast day. The trails takes you to a bunch of beautiful lakes, past fields of wildflowers, and through forest. Started hiking at 9:30AM on a Sunday and we only saw two people past the first lake so there was plenty of solitude. Wildlife sightings included many Pikas and Sooty Grouse. Trail was in great condition and it looked like someone had just come through and pruned branches that had been reaching over the trail.
