Hall Mountain — Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025

Hiked the moderate 2.5 mi Hall Mt Trail #540 from the trail head starting at the end of John's Creek Rd (FS Rd 2200500). This was hiked with children 9 and 6 yo; the 9 yo hiked the entirety of the trail to the summit and back down, the 6 yo needed to be carried for spurts during the ascent with no issues on the decent. Beautiful summit, and trail views were enjoyed on this memeorable hike, along with some huckleberry and thimble berries. Shout out to the PNW Trails association who were improving the the trail as we hiked, it looked amazing, honestly better than much of the access road coming up.
