My wife and I hiked out to Fremont Lookout and stayed overnight to collect some data on the number of people visiting throughout the night. Just a note, we counted 170 people present for sunrise! Some started arriving as early as 4 AM. The trail is great, loose rocks in some places, but all passable. If you plan to see the sunset or arrive early for sunrise, know that it is pretty cold (elevation of almost 7200 feet), and wind chill can be significant. Practice safe hiking and be prepared for cold and darkness - obviously no fires allowed.
