This trail was very fun to hike especially with the river right next to us and so many little side trails to explore as well. Our two kids (6.5 and 4) enjoyed exploring the off trails and the beautiful views of all of the falls from the far view point, lower view point, bridge over the falls, and the upper view point. For the most part everyone had decent trail etiquette, but there were a few people that did not understand to step to the side when they are coming down a hill and others are coming up, especially with kids, and there was also one large group from Microsoft that did not understand trail etiquette at all and would just push their way through wherever they were on the trail.
Regardless of the poor trail etiquette from some people, our kids enjoyed this hike a lot and you do not even notice the elevation gain. This is a great hike for people of all abilities and we look forward to exploring farther next time.
