Mount Rainier Area > NE - Sunrise/White River
Descending down Second Burroughs on the way to Third Burroughs

Camped at White River campground, got to Sunrise around 8am, parking lot was pretty full but there were still spots. Good amount of people on the trail, starts to taper off after Second Burroughs. Beautiful wildflowers blooming. Small snow patch on the trail to Second Burroughs, easily passable and should be melted off soon. Highly recommend continuing past Second Burroughs and onto Third Burroughs. The elevation drop between the two is devastating and the climb up is tough but the view of Mt Ranier and Winthrop Glacier (I think) is amazing. Saw chipmunks and one pika. The sky was clear and blue on our way there but on the way back clouds started rolling in and a thunderstorm started in a different area of the park.
