Pyramid Mountain / Pyramid Peak — Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025

Fantastic hike! Awesome view at the top. Good mix of gentle uphill grade and switchbacks. It took me 3hrs round-trip, I spent about 15min at the lookout. There were a few yellow jackets buzzing around the cabin at the top but, not that bad. There is about a 100 foot section of the trail that a landslide took out. The trail is still there. It is not very difficult to cross unless you're weak or a big scaredy-cat. The gravel was loose, the trail was only a foot wide and it's a little steep going through. There is exposed rock along this section that you can hold onto. Go slow, hold onto the rock and you'll be fine. It's only a few minutes to get past it.
