Paradise Valley Conservation Area — Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025

Sometimes you need a hike close to home. The parking lot was full around the perimeter but plenty of room in the middle. I didn’t check out the honey bucket but it’s there. Nothing spectacular today. Strangely, we saw lots of feathers today. Not sure if it’s moulting season or if there’s another explanation. Trails are in good shape. Kudos to the mountain bike group that does maintenance.
