Arrived 9AM to plenty of parking spots open in the big lots, but in the 10-15 minutes of getting ready more than a dozen more cars arrived. Most folks were headed to Franklin Falls and the Denny Creek trail was quieter but is still a busy trail. The trail is in good shape but is a very rocky trail so travel was a bit slow. It’s very worth the time once at the lake to follow the trail along the edge of the lake to see the smaller upper lake.
