This trail is beautiful, though obviously popular and crowded on weekends. Incredible views and lots of wildlife, clearly very comfortable around humans - at several points along the trail we had to wait for goats (and at one point a bear!) to move along before continuing on our way.
Parking was kind of a bummer - we arrived early enough that we were able to park in a pullout a little way down from the trailhead, but by the time we left there were cars parked on the roadside for at least a mile, leaving little space to pass. We saw one party get parked in, and at least one truck turn around because they were unable to reach the trailhead, which raises concerns that emergency vehicles night not be able to get through either.
This is still an amazing place to hike, but next time I'll come on a weekday!
