Leaving one car at the Welcome Pass TH, we started at the Excelsior TH (5 miles down) and ran the 11.5 mile traverse with 4500' vertical. The trail is in good condition with only a few minor obstacles. Great views along the ridge, and plenty of wildflowers. On a sunny Saturday there were plenty of others out enjoying the trails.
