La Center Bottoms — Friday, Jul. 25, 2025

I walked La Center Bottoms today with the hubby and kiddo. Was a very nice easy trail for the 8 year old. The hubby and kiddo enjoyed the few extra cut-offs to the river that the trail follows along.

The trailhead board was unclear how far each side was. So we counted for future reference, there are four bridges and two bird blinds on the trail to the right. It got too warm to add the smaller trail on the left. Plan to come back and do it again.

Today there was quite a bit of horse poo on the trail we had to watch out for, not sure how often this occurs, or how normal it is but something to be aware of if you have real little ones with you.

The paved parking on the top is the correct parking.
