Started out about 8am, parking lots already full but still plenty along the road. Started out on the loop counterclockwise and which helped avoid the mass of tourists. A few bugs in the wooded areas but not too bad. Lots of deer and marmots galore enjoying the wildflowers. Some snow and muddy spots across the path but again, nothing too bad at all. 6.7 miles on the loop, 1800 feet of elevation.
