Naches Peak Loop — Thursday, Jul. 17, 2025

We had slight trouble locating the trailhead and ended up parking in the viewpoint parking across from Chinook Pass.

Followed the advice of hiking clockwise , and the view of Mt Rainier spectacular! Wildflowers are amazing too.

But the mosquitoes are terrible. Despite dousing ourselves with DEET, we were still swarmed with them every time we stop for a photo op, biting us through bug spray and clothing.
