Lovely hike through the forest. I started at the trailhead slightly northwest of the resort, going roughly counterclockwise. The trail is almost overgrown in parts, and some parts were muddy. There were a few logs to climb over - a bit awkward for my 5'3" self, but doable. After passing Sol Duc Falls and heading towards the resort, the trail signs through the campgrounds are hard to see, as they're about knee-high (I actually missed one, and some campers helped redirect me). Note that there is no cell service on the trail or at the resort, so have maps downloaded ahead of time.
