Holy mosquitoes. We parked at the Martin Creek trailhead and it was swarming with mosquitoes. Lots of bugs on the trail too, but the parking lot was aggressive. If you do the hike, I would recommend parking at the main lot by the Great Northern Railway car.
Besides becoming a mosquitoes buffet, there were beautiful wildflowers along the upper trail, columbine and lillies.
