WTA can remove the closure notice. This trail is open and hundreds of people hiked it today. Vault toilets in the lot are stinky but open. I’m not sure we went more than a minute of solitude. There was always someone ahead or behind. That’s ok. Everyone was enjoying the beautiful green forest. Even though it rained today, there was very little mud.there’s a reason it’s popular. Very pretty!

I'm mesmerized by the fern photo! I loved this hike. It wasn't gloomy when I went but I really wanted it to be.

Those ferns are definitely a piece of art! You may have to wait for winter if you’re looking for gloomy. Spring heading into summer just feels so amazing and full of potential.
