Hiked this trail for the first time today and thought it was lovely. It’s in the trees for 90% of it, but it was perfect on a hot, sunny day, to be protected. Fun to see the rock claims for the first 1/4 of the hike once you start the incline. It’s pretty much straight up the whole way, so a great training hike. I forgot poles- I don’t usually use them-but picked up some sticks to help along the way up. My biggest complaint was the 100’s of cobwebs I got to clear on the way up. But the views at the top are amazing. There was no snow and the trail was easy to follow. Definitely recommend this one.
