Left the trailhead at approximately 9:00 am. We made our way up taking our time and stopping at all the views. One big tree to climb over or under.Arrived at the falls around 11:00. snow drifts in two areas just before the falls. I post holed a couple of times. The drifts were not very big but one was above the bridge that is below the other falls, up on the ledge making it a dangerous spot. we were careful to stay away from the edge. The falls were awesome, lots of water and mist coming off them with intermittent snow below. The canyon and the view of the falls were spectacular! We were guessing that there was going to be too much snow still up at the park so we made this our turn around spot today. We had a snack and took lots of pics with all the mist at the bottom. Headed back about 12:00. Arrived back at the trailhead just after 1:00. Nice to see the falls in the spring with all the water and snow around! Be back late summer for the flowers above at the park and maybe make our way to the glacier view too.
