Goat Lake — Sunday, Jun. 1, 2025

The road is open to the trailhead which is great to see! A few potholes to keep an eye on but any car is fine. Parking lot was overflowing but we snagged a good spot from someone who just left. We took the lower trail both ways, nice gentle gain with some calming sounds of whitewater and decent river views. After the trails come back together there are a fair amount of downed trees, they were easy enough to climb over or walk around. Pretty decent amount of gain here too. The waterfall below the lake is crazy right now, worth the stop. At the lake we continued on the bushwhack but the water is too high to access certain viewpoints.
