The trail from the parking lot to view the falls is steep for a minute, then it's flat. The hike down to the river is not hard. The water was moving fast, so we didn't go in. There were people swimming in the pools across the river. I think they had to pay $5 to the house at the top to get to the river.

Did you just follow the route noted in above or what direction did you use to find the place and where to park? Is that house you mentioned near the parking then?
